We used CCS for a loft conversion last year, adding 2 bedrooms and an ensuite, and would wholeheartedly recommend Dangis, Paul & team. We came into the project trying to be as cost effective as possible, and they came up with a suggested change that not only reduced our cost but one that we preferred to our original plans. Everything was completed to a high standard by the team and throughout the works themselves they were easy to deal with - good communication, responded promptly to anything that came up, and both were a regular presence on site. All in all a great experience and one that has absolutely transformed our living space!

CCS recently completed a loft conversion for us, adding 1.5 bedrooms and a shower room. The process was much smoother than we expected and all completed on the original timetable we agreed. Costs were also more transparent than similar businesses that we contacted for the job. Paul and Dangis dropped in most days and were hands on in managing the project. Their full team and all contractors they work with were friendly, professional and did a great job. They also gave us sensible advice on general roof improvements and fixing up part of an extension done by the previous owners. Would highly recommend them.

One of the main reasons why I chose Paul and Dangis for my loft conversion project on a rented house in South London was the excellent reviews they had. Now, I am pleased to be adding a 5 star review myself as a happy customer. This was a daunting project for me, living abroad. There is a hell of a lot of detail involved and I had no experience on this size of a project. Paul and Dangis guided me through the whole thing really well from planning, party walls etc being really experienced specialists. The communication was crystal clear and they were always on top of the low level details which is no mean feat. When I changed my mind on a key project decision, requiring some structural work to be undone, they were flexible and fair about it. The finished job is high quality, was completed on time. and I am very happy with it. Importantly, they are very nice guys to work with, and my neighbours had no complaints about anything. Cannot recommend Clapham Construction more! It was an absolute pleasure working with Paul, Dangis and their team as we built a mansard and did a loft conversion as well as adding an en-suite bathroom. The planning process was a really good opportunity to get onto the same page and their invaluable advice meant it all went smoothly with engaging neighbours and the council. The building works were done quickly and to a very high standard. While we went for relatively cheap options, I was impressed with the quality of the fittings and materials. I also appreciated that throughout the building process, there were constant quality checks by Dangis and also points where he gave some great suggestions on how to bring more light into the flat which has made a huge difference to the overall feel of our home. Sadly we are moving away from the area as our family is growing but I wish they CC could come to our new home and work their magic!

Thank you Clapham Construction! Your team were friendly, efficient, and highly motivated. The project ran to schedule with effective overlapping of tasks to allow for minimum disruption. Paul kept us actively involved at each stage of the process, so we always knew what was happening when, which was really reassuring. If we ever had a question, he would talk it through with us in person and offer advice without any pressure or expectation. The work is completed to an excellent standard. All the construction workers where kind, considerate, friendly, polite and kept our house as clean and tidy as possible. This took so much of the stress out of living on site during the works with a young son. Even the neighbours commented on how polite and considerate the builders had been. Absolute professionals is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Clapham Construction service. And there are two further things you need to know about them: they are brilliant at what they do and they are generous in spirit.Throughout our project Paul and Dangis answered our naive questions with warmth and care. They helped guide us at every turn, and almost certainly saved us money by making sure we considered all the options we had before making key decisions. But not just customer care, the building work is also top notch. The build itself was a well oiled process, coordinated with skill.I was initially worried about getting an anonymous loft company I'd never heard of in (after getting 8 different quotes from a variety of places including famous local ones) and being part of the 'box on the roof' brigade. Yet somehow, they have created build magic with some tweaks on 'a little bit of height' here, and 'a little configuration' there. We keep marvelling at the sturdiness and smoothness of the physical build even now, and the army of highly skilled teams they have were a pleasure to host in the house while we worked from home.And finally the most important bit - the money stuff- our Loft extension (including bathroom) was completed on time and more or less on budget. The additional costs were the unforseen - (yikes a victorian chimney needs dismantling!) and a few flourishes that we ourselves added to the mix - (can the door handles be gold?). Any additional build costs were communicated efficiently and immediately.Our experience of Clapham Construction is that they are patient, hugely knowledgable, and detail orientated with a wealth of incredible advice. Don't delay on getting them on your project!

Clapham Construction have done an excellent, high quality job on our loft conversion and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.They constructed an L-shaped Mansard with two bedrooms, bathroom and roof terrace. It was a very daunting project to go into but the process was seamless.We had around 5 different companies come in to give quotes and Clapham Construction was by far the best response in terms of information and presentation. Their pricing was competitive and in line with the others - a huge plus was how they set their prices from the start without changing. I believe the other companies fluctuate depending on the market prices at the time. One of the main things I liked about Clapham Construction is they do not take on too many projects so the owners (Dangis and Paul) give your project a lot of attention. At least one of them is on site most days and they are contactable via whatsapp. Be sure to ask about any possible extra work outside of the main quote so you can budget properly and not get any nasty surprises.Paul and Dangis were top experts and gave very good advice throughout. Their staff were very friendly and efficient. For the main construction/roofing/plastering, they completed this extremely quickly and I can't think of one day where there weren't loads of workers on site. The plumbing and electrics may take a bit longer but this is normal. Make sure you ask and find out exactly when you need to have tiles, bathroom items etc. on site because if you miss the deadline, it can hold up the work.Like with any loft conversion, you will need to be patient and communicate exactly what you want right down to the smallest detail, otherwise you may come to a misunderstanding during the project. Paul and Dangis were very good at adapting and carrying out my (probably unreasonable) requests.There was one incident where we had a gas leak in the front garden (nothing to do with Clapham Construction) and the scaffolding had to come down urgently so the gas engineers could dig down. I am sure this was hugely inconvenient for Paul and Dangis but they understood the emergency and the scaffolding was down within 48 hours at no extra cost. I'm sure a lot of other companies would not be so understanding.Overall we are so happy we went with Clapham Construction and we will be highly recommending them to any friends who want to do the same project.

CCS recently completed a loft, bathroom and kitchen renovation on our South London Terrace. Start to finish the service and end product were excellent, specifically:-Initial quotation - Dan/Paul worked with us to understand what we wanted, work through challenges and refine our ideas. Compared to other contractors we felt they listened, and provided a quote that whilst not the cheapest was a fixed price with clear indication of costs for extras.-Design- The wider team guided us through Building Control process well, refining the design as needed to make all appropriate submissions to the local council/supporting Party Wall requirements as necessary.-Build/Finish - Great team, always professional, efficient and punctual. Quality of finish was excellent, managed COVID supply chain issues well.-Recommendation - Highly recommended. This type of project is daunting especially if like us you haven't done this before. Our experience with this company was excellent from the initial consultation, through the building work on the rear dormer, to the final touches inside. The major structural work happened gratifyingly quickly (considering it was February), while the later internal work took a little longer. The process began with a really detailed chat with Paul about what we wanted and what was realistic for the space. The quote offered good value and having talked to neighbours who’d used the company we were happy to go with them.The staff were quick and efficient and Paul and Dan kept in touch and visited frequently throughout to keep on top of the job and keep us in the loop.Payments were split by stage, which is great as you can control your budget and know what’s been delivered and when. The final payment is only made once snagging is complete - this was great as we’ve had experience in the past of builders never finishing jobs off. I'll confess I am a bit picky when it comes to renovation work, dad was a builder. I ended up getting 10 or so quotes for the works, it we were a little caution from the passed. Dan and Paul came and spent the longest time with us just discussing our needs and planned use... we really appreciated this as no one else asked. There advise was then based completely on that, talking us out of some additional works that they felt wasn't needed... which we really appreciated.There quote was mid-range compared to others, but unlike most was fully inclusive and jargon free.We took the plunge feeling the most confident with them and so so happy we did. In short, they delivered on what they said, what we wanted and how they said they would. Admittedly this wasn't;t in the way we imagined, but once they explained it, this made sense. From quoting to completion they were a very helpful and hands on team - if there were any issues (not their fault!) they solved them quickly - would highly recommend! They demolished and refitted our bathroom & kitchen - and we are about to use them again for a mansard rood extension.

Clapham Construction were extremely helpful and responsive throughout the build and the results were fantastic. The vaulted ceiling looks very dramatic and the loft feels spacious and light.

Everything was very easy from start to finish with these guys. Terms agreed up front with nothing hidden at all, communication brilliant the whole way even with a Whatsapp group with questions answered 7 days a week! The finish is of an incredibly high standard and advice & direction given when necessary was great. Couldn't recommend these guys enough and would most certainly use again if I ever required.

The team are brilliant and a special thank you to Dangis and Paul. They are hands on. We had an existing loft, which was done by the previous owners 20 years ago and it was awful. These guys came, provided a really competitive quote.....which I advise everyone to check against others... Clapham construction initially looked a little more expensive than another quote, but when you look into the detail they include everything we needed and there were no extras... another company would have charged for every addition which would have come out more expensive in the end... which is a bit naughty really. Very impressed with the speed and communication was really hot... Dangis/Paul were around all the time and as owners sorted everything for us.... exactly what you want really. Thanks Gents

I was initially going to leave a glowing and Positive 5-STAR review, but to be honest I will use this opportunity to say THANK YOU!!! again to Clapham Construction. Paul and Dangis have been exceptional. We starting our loft conversion 3months ago and where nearing completion when this whole Covid-19 thing hit and we were seriously worried. These guys knew we had some medical concerns in the house and they were nothing but brilliant. They had us watertight and completed as well as maintaining really decent levels of social distancing throughout.. now we have a dream loft and they have been terrific at helping us source materials for completion considering the circumstances... carpets, paint etc... even let us hire some of their team for moving furniture etc.. upstairs to complete.... Thank you, Thank you.... anytime you guys need anything just let us know... as I said we owe you big time.... Cathy xxx

From the moment we met Paul and Dangis we knew we were on to a winner! They compliment each other really well and they made us feel so at ease from the word go. Nothing has been too much trouble and their communication is unreal - they always get back to us and no matter how many times we called / text - they always had patience and a sense of humour ! But above all - we love our house! We had a loft and an extension and both have been incredibly done and on time ( if not quicker than planned) . The quality and finish is brilliant , all of the tradesman that they have working for them are excellent. We were terrified of entering into this process as we have heard such horror stories but their business is run so well that we have never had to worry ! I highly highly recommend these guys if you planning on doing a build ! Thanks guys !

Super Happy with these guys. Previously we hand some large 'all London brand' doing all our works. But really we were not happy as the works is passed over to guys on site and no one oversees it.... so you pay for nothing really. So we looked for someone more reliable. We found clapham Construction by recommendation and we were not disappointed. Start to finish they did what we agreed and delivered what they promised.... we are not the most trusting of people but we couldn't ask more of Paul and Dangis and all their teams. As for the Loft Conversion.... It's amazing.

Reviews are often subjective, just look at Trip advisor, I guess you can't always be satisfied with circumstances and services all the time, especially in your home. What I love about these guys in on day one and particularly in the pre-construction meeting, they sat me and my wife down and told what to expect (the worst bits), what could go wrong and what they would do about it. A bingo, they did just that, including a small leak we had through the skylight. Brilliant reaction and responsibility. Overall the service was very good, they were clean, tidy and respectful, laying sheets from the front door to the back so they could move materials without making a mess. I am extremely happy with the services of Clapham construction and the outcome of the completed loft conversion. The workmen were tidy, polite and completed on the job instructions. I would highly recommend to all who dream of having a dream come true loft! Special thanks to owners/project managers Paul and Dangis, they been on site nearly every single day to check progress and keep me up to date. They did exactly what they were contracted to do and that’s why we Love them!!!

I found Clapham construction service on Youtube, when I was browsing, trying to educate myself on the process of a loft conversion. I was seduced by some lovely videos to be honest but invited them to quote for the works. To be honest without sounding so enthralled like some other reviews I’ve read… they did and acted exactly as they represented on the videos and website. I couldn’t complain about anything because they did exactly what they said on the tin. Having spoke to the owner a few times it seems they limit the number of jobs they do per year to ensure they the management can personally manage each job, that’s a good business model.

I have already recommended these guys a few times already. I do property developments so these guys have done some refurbishment, extension and lofts for me. They are brilliant. Saved me money and time (compared to previous contractors). They were onsite everyday checking the quality, progress and dealing with issue... so i did not have to get involved. Well worth calling them
